Following the implementation of the project, the conservation status of species and habitats of community importance in the targeted areas has been improved and the level of awareness and information of local communities/authorities on the importance of biodiversity and natural heritage protection has been increased.
The works provide for the execution of new structures, rehabilitation / demolition / extension of existing ones, as well as artificial re-sanding of the beaches, all being designed to ensure stability for a period of 50 years.
The main objective is to depollute and improve the quality of soil and groundwater in the Titu-Boteni area by bringing the values of pollutants within normal limits (according to standards).
