The works that are the object of the project are:
- Arrangement of 7 Landfills for treated soils;
- Arrangement of 15 Bioremediation Stations for the treatment of oil-contaminated soil;
- Principles underlying design:
- Correct placement procedures
- Dense and watertight asphalt surfaces – to withstand climatic conditions.
- Surface water is collected and reused in the soil treatment process.
- Collecting surface water in a watertight basin.
- Sewage systems for collecting rainwater from the row storage area.
- Proper access control, regular soil analysis.
- The site is fenced to prevent access by unauthorized persons and animals.
- Internal drainage and leachate collection system.
- Perimeter channels related to the storage cell for rainwater collection.
- Strict and periodic control procedures for monitoring trucks in the reception area
- After filling, cover the stored soil with clean soil and plant vegetation to reduce infiltration. The project is realized through the collaboration of Romair Consulting and COWI A/S.
