The Romair Consulting Consortium, Carl Bro, Iberinsa and IGIP are developing the project for supervising the implementation of the waste collection and treatment system in Galați. The project includes the closure of the old landfill, the opening of the first cell in the new landfill, the construction of a composting and waste sorting station and the construction of two special waste collection points. The program also includes a stage of educating the population regarding selective waste collection.
