We are looking for a colleague to fill the position of Technical Heating Specialist – Secondary Expert.
The project consists of investments for the rehabilitation of the heating system of the Municipality of Bucharest.
The general objective of the project is to increase energy efficiency by reducing thermal energy losses recorded on the transport networks of the heating agent, reducing the negative impact of the level of polluting emissions caused by SACET in order to improve the quality of life of the population of Bucharest at the level of 2028 and to ensure compliance with the environmental obligations established by the Treaty of Accession of Romania to the EU.
Technical specialist requirements – heating networks:
- University studies completed with a bachelor’s degree – qualification level – 4 valid before the entry into force of the National/European Qualifications Framework (2013) and qualification level 5 after the entry into force of the National Qualifications Framework (2013) in discipline civil engineering / installation engineering / environmental engineering / mechanical engineering / hydrotechnical constructions or equivalent;
- General knowledge of computer operation in MS Word and Excel;
- General professional experience of at least 5 years;
- Participation in at least 1 project in the field of environmental infrastructure of similar complexity to that related to the contract to be awarded, within which to have held responsibilities of the nature of those related to the position for which it is proposed (technical expert/engineer or other equivalent or higher positions her in terms of responsibilities.
Job description:
- Responsible for the technical assistance activity in his specialized field;
- Ensure the correlation with the other specialties in the project;
- Checks compliance with the requirements of the Beneficiary and applicable legislation by the Contractors in the design documentation prepared by the latter, according to his specialization;
- Checks the technical design documentation, according to his specialization, drawn up by Contractors within the framework of design and execution type contracts and the proposed changes to these projects, taking into account the provisions of the award documentation, the design regulations/standards/norms in force and other legislative provisions applicable in force;
- Ensures the verification of compliance with the Beneficiary’s requirements from the Award Documentation, the reporting of inconsistencies in the Contractors’ projects compared to these requirements;
- Participate, at the request of the Beneficiary and/or the Team Leader, in the tests at the end of the works, at the receptions and during the works when the presence is necessary;
- Informs the Team Leader of the problems that have arisen and that he cannot solve at his level;
- Provides specialized input regarding the activities in which he is involved for general reports;
- Reports to the Team Leader the status of the activities in which he is involved and the progress recorded;
- Ensure the circulation of information between the experts within the team;
- Ensures the collection and centralization of the data necessary to run the stages for which he is responsible;
- Ensures the resolution of problems that arise at the level of the activities in which he is involved;
- Completes the monthly time sheet with the working time dedicated to the Project and submits it to the Team Leader for verification;
- Propose to the team leader measures to reduce/eliminate risks identified at the level of the activities in which he is involved;
- Other tasks that the Team Leader will assign according to the needs of the contract;
- Other responsibilities and attributions associated with the activities in which he is involved according to the methodology for carrying out the activities.
Technical specialist – heating networks:
- It will be available throughout the duration of the service contract, with intermittent presence during the warranty period;
- He will have his work point at the Provider’s central office, participating in meetings with the Beneficiary, as requested, with the exception of field trips requested by the Beneficiary or agreed with it.
