We are looking for a colleague to fill the role of Team Leader – Reșita, Caraș-Severin county
Area: Caraș-Severin County / West Region
City of work: Reșița
The project consists of investments for the treatment and distribution of water and the collection and purification of waste water that will be implemented for Caraș-Severin County / West Region, in urban and rural areas and that will result in the connection to these systems of all citizens in these areas and compliance with the provisions of the relevant EU directives.
Job requirements:
- Higher studies completed with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the fields of hydrotechnical / civil constructions / installations / environmental engineering;
- General knowledge of computer operation in MS Word and Excel;
- General professional experience of at least 5 years;
- Participation as Team Leader/Deputy Team Leader and/or Project Manager/Deputy Project Manager or positions equivalent to these as responsibilities but with different names, in at least 5 (five) service contracts/technical assistance in the field of infrastructure of the environment at which similar coordination activities have been carried out.
Job description:
- The Team Leader will act on behalf of and with the delegation of authority from CAT MPSL as Supervisor/Provider for all the activities specified in the service contract, of technical support of project management and supervision;
- The team leader is responsible for the delegation of authority;
- Acts as a representative of the Supervision Consultant in relation to the Beneficiary, Contractors and other parties;
- Ensure the management of the technical assistance service contract;
- It ensures the prerequisites for the performance of the services in the time calendar and in the quality conditions stipulated in the service contract.
- Administers and carries out the specific activities described by the clauses of the works contracts within the limits of the delegation of authority issued by the Supervisor;
- Analyzing, proposing for revision, if necessary, and approving the technical execution projects carried out by the Contractors and verifying their compliance with the EC Requirements;
- Elaboration of specialized reports regarding the analysis of the technical execution projects developed by the Contractors and their submission to the EC with the approval/rejection recommendation;
- Monitoring the performance of the works from a technical point of view, throughout their execution and admitting for payment only the corresponding works from a quantitative and qualitative point of view;
- Attending and leading weekly and monthly meetings with the Contractors, and organizing any other management meetings as required;
- Elaboration of reports on the progress of the works and contributing to the realization of the reports requested by the Service Contract;
- Verification of Work Situations and supporting documents submitted by Contractors, in accordance with the provisions of the respective contracts;
- Accomplishing, together with the subordinate supervision team, the tasks related to the measurement of the works and the certification for payment to the Contractor;
- Preparation of intermediate and final payment certificates for contracts for its purpose; Analyzing and notifying the Contractor about possible non-conformities and establishing measures to remedy them;
- Analyzing the Execution Programs for the supervised contracts and submitting them to the EC for approval/rejection;
- Monitoring and reporting the actual progress of the supervised contracts, within the weekly, monthly reports or when requested by the Beneficiary;
- Verification of the Contractor’s Procedures/Methods of execution and monitoring
their compliance during execution; - Tracking, verifying and approving the results of the tests performed, whatever they may be;
- Participating in the receptions at the end of the works and commissioning and in the final receptions and providing the secretariat of the Beneficiary’s Reception Commission.
Team Leader:
- It will be available throughout the duration of the service contract, with intermittent presence during the warranty period;
- He will be permanently present at the Provider’s Central office participating in meetings with the Beneficiary, as requested, except for field trips requested by the Beneficiary or agreed with it.
