Romair Consulting continuă seria proiectelor majore aprobate la finanțare în cadrul POIM 2014 – 2020
On July 11, 2022, at the headquarters of the Ministry of European Investments and Projects, the Contract for financing the first stage of the investment project The regional project for the development of water and wastewater infrastructure in the area of operation of the Regional Operator from Călărași and Ialomița counties was signed. The total investment is estimated at 291.53 million euros without VAT, and the first stage is estimated at 90 million euros, without VAT.
The regional project for the development of water and wastewater infrastructure in the area of operation of the Regional Operator in Călărași and Ialomița counties totaling 1.7 billion lei is another major financing project signed in Romania, which continues the series of important projects with financing built by Romair Consulting within the POIM 2014 – 2020, namely:
- “Coastal erosion reduction – phase II”, totaling 3.8 billion lei;
- „The Regional Project for the development of water and wastewater infrastructure in the operating area of S.C. RAJA S.A. Constanța, in the period 2014 – 2020 ”, in a total value of 2.9 billion lei;
- “Regional project for the development of water and wastewater infrastructure in Satu Mare County – North-West Region, in the period 2014 – 2020”, totaling 1.2 billion lei;
- “Regional project for the development of water and wastewater infrastructure in the Turda – Câmpia Turzii region, in the period 2014 – 2020”, totaling 0.7 billion lei;
- “Water and wastewater infrastructure development project in Buzau county, in the period 2014 – 2020”, totaling 1.6 billion lei;
- “The regional project for the development of water and wastewater infrastructure in the counties of Sibiu and Brașov, in the period 2014 – 2020”, in a total amount of 1.1 billion lei;
- “Water and wastewater infrastructure development project in Mehedinți County, in the period 2014 – 2020”, totaling 0.3 billion lei.
Under Priority Axis 3, SO 3.2 “Increasing the level of collection and treatment of urban wastewater, as well as the degree of ensuring the supply of drinking water to the population”, out of the total financing contracts signed by approx. 40 billion lei, Romair Consulting obtained financing for 7 projects worth 9.5 billion lei, representing 24% of the total OS 3.2.
Under Priority Axis 5, SO 5.1 “Reduction of effects and damages on the population caused by natural phenomena associated with the main risks accentuated by climate change, mainly floods and coastal erosion”, out of the total financing contracts signed by approx. 4.2 billion lei, Romair Consulting built the project “Reduction of coastal erosion – phase II”, worth approx. 3.8 billion lei, representing over 91% of the total OS 5.1.
In conclusion, the projects carried out by Romair Consulting within POIM 2014 – 2020 amount to over 13.3 billion lei total value, representing over 10% of the total projects contracted under POIM 2014 – 2020 on all 10 Priority Axes, according to the reported data by the Managing Authority for the Large Infrastructure Operational Program (Report cut-off dated 31.05.2022).
