Today, 11.04.2022, the contract for the public procurement of technical assistance services regarding the project management for the “Rehabilitation of the district heating system of Bucharest” was signed, concluded by the Bucharest City Hall with Romair Consulting S.R.L.
With a value of 9,389,000 lei, excluding VAT, which will have an implementation period of 26 months, this project is part of the total investment of EUR 330,732,249 which is part of the priority axis of the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2022 “Growth energy efficiency at the level of the central heating system in the selected cities ”.
Contributing to Romania’s compliance with the environmental requirements set out in its Treaty of Accession to the European Union, the general objective of the project is to increase energy efficiency by reducing heat loss on heat transmission networks, reducing the negative impact of pollutant emissions caused by SACET, in order to improve the quality of life of the population in Bucharest at the level of 2028 and to ensure compliance with the environmental obligations established by the Treaty of Accession of Romania to the EU.
