Preparation of the information system specific to the real estate-urban domain and the urban data bank of Drobeta Turnu-Severin Municipality

The object of this project is the creation of a Database (GIS) specific to the Real Estate and Urban fields, which will ensure the good development of the public/administrative activities at the level of Drobeta Turnu-Severin Municipality. Project area – about 300 ha, urban.

Creating, managing, visualizing, presenting, developing and analyzing a complex digital map;

Development of a Geographic Information System (GIS) with the inventory of information specific to the Real Estate and Urban fields, the technical-economic and legal inventory of all real estate and urban networks in the Municipality of Drobeta Turnu-Severin;

Increasing the efficiency of network management, ensuring a high-performance management of risks and emergencies

Development of specific modules for the evaluation of lands, constructions and urban networks, creation and development of a land and constructions market;

Creating a fair basis for the taxation of real estate specific to the “taxes” service;

The inventoried data will serve to characterize the real estate fund, to draw up plans for the reconstruction and systematization of rural cities and localities, to establish taxes, insurance quotas, as well as to make real estate advertising.

One of the advantages of the digital map is the possibility to display in real time current data about the locality, about real estate (land, houses, owner), technical-municipal and road networks, as well as the connection between the elements contained in GIS;

It offers the possibility to develop the application for the cadastre of parks and green areas, the road cadastre as well as an integrated urban cadastre system together with the urban services of the city (public utility utilities);

Standardization of geospatial data, their adoption and publication;

Implementing applications for updating and querying data;

Publication of public geospatial data;

Reducing the time required to import data, the data will be constantly updated;

Reducing data collection costs due to solving the exchange of information;

Increasing employee productivity by providing access to geospatial data;
