The project provides for the implementation of integrated programs for human resources development and employment stimulation in the South-Muntenia Region, increasing the degree of adaptation to the requirements of the modern labor market of the target group by adequate information on labor market characteristics, occupational and training trends, and methods, techniques and tools for finding and maintaining a job.

Increasing employment opportunities for the unemployed

The project provides for the implementation of integrated programs for human resources development and employment stimulation in the South-Muntenia Region, increasing the degree of adaptation to the requirements of the modern labor market of the target group by adequate information on labor market characteristics, occupational and training trends, and methods, techniques and tools for finding and maintaining a job.

The proposed measures are integrative and covering, deriving from each other. Over 2000 people receive relevant and adapted information to help them integrate into the labor market in order to obtain the highest possible employment rate and ensure the sustainability of the programs offered. This is done through a portal for this project, constantly updated, by distributing information materials and organizing a mobile caravan with parking points in 13 urban and 7 rural communities. In order to improve the employment capacity of the people in the target group, the project provides personal and professional counseling services and job search assistance for a number of 600 people, through the counselors of the two offices in Prahova and Ialomita counties and during the 5 sessions. counseling organized in the 5 counties without coverage with working points. Also within the project are elaborated sheets regarding the personal and professional development route for 600 people from the target group. The project provides for the organization of two seminars, which aim to increase self-esteem, self-confidence and reduce other consequences caused by job loss and inactivity, long lasting. 5 professional training sessions are organized, representing the 5 training programs: a personal and professional development course with communication and management modules as well as 4 professional qualification courses with obtaining CNFPA authorized certificates.

In order to increase the employment rate of the people in the target group, the portal intended for the project offers an interface between the target group and the future employers, the applicant assuming the role of mediator of this relationship. The completion of the project involves at least 120 people benefiting from the mediation service with the elaboration of 120 individual mediation plans and approximately 60 employees.

The project also aims to facilitate the integration into the labor market of the long-term unemployed, young people between 16 and 24 years old and the unemployed over 45 years old, as well as people looking for a job, attracting and maintaining a number higher number of people in the labor market.

Specific objectives:

  1. Increasing the level of information of a number of 2,000 people in the target group.
  2. Elaboration of 600 files regarding the personal and professional development route.
  3. Organizing 5 training sessions for personal and professional development, 240 participants and 4 professional training courses with obtaining CNFPA authorized certificates.
  4. Realization of individual mediation plans and intermediation of the employment process for at least 120 people, 60 people being employed at the end of the project.
