Extension and modernization of water and wastewater infrastructure for Constanța-Ilfov

The objective of the project in which the contract falls is to improve the infrastructure in the water and wastewater sector in Buftea, Corbeanca and Constanța, within the counties of Ilfov and Constanta included in the operating area of ​​RAJA SA Constanța, in order to fulfill the obligations of compliance assumed by the Accession Treaty resulting from the European Directive 98/83 / EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption and Directive 91/271 / EC on the treatment of urban waste water.

The general objective of the contract is to provide technical assistance to the Regional Operator for the preparation of the investment project aiming at continuing the strategy of modernisation and expansion of the water and wastewater infrastructure in the operating area of ​​RAJA SA by:

• Design activities for investments in water and wastewater infrastructure, according to the requirements of the applicable legislation, at the level of feasibility study and technical projects;
• Preparation of the financing application, according to the requirements of SOP Environment – Priority Axis 1 Extension and modernisation of water and wastewater systems, including support until the financing is approved;
• Support during the awarding procedures carried out by RAJA SA based on the awarding documents elaborated by Romair;
• Technical assistance from the designer during the execution of the works, according to the provisions of Law no. 10/1995 on quality in constructions.
