The project takes place in the NW of the Baiului Mountains, at heights between 1000 – 1520m, near the city of Predeal, Brasov County.
The specific objective of the project consists in the development of the Olăreasa ski area in Predeal resort:
- rehabilitation of the infrastructure for sports tourism in the Olăreasa area, belonging to the Predeal resort, of national interest;
- modernization of the infrastructure for sports tourism (chairlift, snow markings) in the Olăreasa area, belonging to the Predeal resort, of national interest;
The following objectives have been planned for investments:
- development of ski slopes
- chairlift system
- construction of a multifunctional building at the base of the slope
- utilities (water supply, electricity, drainage).
