We are looking for a colleague to fill the position of construction site manager – secondary expert.
The project consists of investments for the treatment and distribution of water and the collection and purification of waste water that will be implemented for Gorj County, in urban and rural areas, and that will result in the connection to these systems of all citizens in these areas and compliance with the provisions of the directives relevant EU.

Resident Engineer Requirements:
- Graduated higher education with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the fields of hydraulic / civil construction / installations / environmental engineering;
- General computer skills in MS Word and Excel;
- General professional experience of at least 5 years;
- Participation as a Resident Engineer (or equivalent or higher positions in terms of responsibilities) in the supervision of at least 1 (one) works contract at which similar supervision/supervision/follow-up activities have been carried out for works contracts (execution and / or design and execution) related to an investment objective in the field of medium infrastructure.
Job description:
- Administers and carries out the specific activities described by the clauses of the works contracts within the limits of the delegation of authority issued by the Supervisor;
- Analyzing, proposing for review, if applicable, and approving the technical execution projects carried out by the Contractors and verifying their compliance with the EC Requirements;
- Elaboration of specialized reports regarding the analysis of the technical execution projects developed by the Contractors and their submission to the EC with the approval/rejection recommendation;
- Monitoring the completion of the works from a technical point of view, throughout their execution and admitting to payment only the corresponding works from a quantitative and qualitative point of view;
- Attending and leading weekly and monthly meetings with Contractors, and organizing any other management meetings as required;
- Preparing reports on the progress of work and contributing to the realization of the reports requested by the Service Agreement;
- Verification of Work Situations and supporting documents submitted by Contractors, in accordance with the provisions of the respective contracts;
- Accomplishing, together with the subordinate supervisory team, the tasks related to the measurement of the works and the certification for payment to the Contractor;
- Preparation of interim and final payment certificates for contracts for its purpose; Analyzing and notifying the Contractor about possible non-conformities and establishing measures to remedy them;
- Analyzing the Execution Programs for the supervised contracts and submitting them to the EC for approval/rejection;
- Monitoring and reporting the actual progress of the supervised contracts, within the weekly, monthly reports or when requested by the Beneficiary;
- Checking the Contractor’s Procedures/Methods of execution and monitoring their compliance during execution;
- Tracking, checking and approving the results of the tests carried out, whatever they may be;
- Participating in the receptions at the completion of the works and commissioning and in the final receptions and providing the secretariat of the Beneficiary’s Reception Committee.
