Project title:
Technical assistance services for the supervision of the execution works “Regional Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Development Project from Gorj County”.
City of work: Târgu Jiu
The project consists of investments for the treatment and distribution of water and the collection and purification of waste water that will be implemented for Gorj County, in urban and rural areas, and that will result in the connection to these systems of all citizens in these areas and compliance with the provisions of the directives relevant EU.
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduated from higher education in the technical field or equivalent;
- General knowledge of computer operation in MS Word and Excel;
- Certification as Site Manager in the field of Roads, bridges, tunnels, airstrips, cable transport – of national or county interest, according to MDRT Order 1496/2011, amended and supplemented by MDRT Order 3482/2013, according to MDRT Order 1496/2011 , amended and supplemented by the MDRT Order 3482/2013 (or equivalent issued in the country of residence, on the condition of demonstrating the possibility of practice in the field on the territory of Romania);
- Participation as Site Manager in a similar contract.
Job description:
- Administers and carries out the specific activities described by the clauses of the works contracts within the limits of the delegation of authority issued by the Supervisor;
- Analyzing, proposing for revision, if necessary, and approving the technical execution projects carried out by the Contractors and verifying their compliance with the EC Requirements;
- Elaboration of specialized reports regarding the analysis of the technical execution projects developed by the Contractors and their submission to the EC with the approval/rejection recommendation;
- Monitoring the performance of the works from a technical point of view, throughout their execution and admitting for payment only the corresponding works from a quantitative and qualitative point of view;
- Attending and leading weekly and monthly meetings with the Contractors, and organizing any other management meetings as required;
- Elaboration of reports on the progress of the works and contributing to the realization of the reports requested by the Service Contract;
- Verification of Work Situations and supporting documents submitted by Contractors, in accordance with the provisions of the respective contracts;
- Accomplishing, together with the subordinate supervision team, the tasks related to the measurement of the works and the certification for payment to the Contractor;
- Preparation of intermediate and final payment certificates for contracts for its purpose;
- Analyzing and notifying the Contractor of possible non-conformities and establishing measures to remedy them;
- Analyzing the Execution Programs for the supervised contracts and submitting them to the EC for approval/rejection;
- Monitoring and reporting the actual progress of the supervised contracts, within the weekly, monthly reports or when requested by the Beneficiary;
- Checking the Contractor’s Procedures/Execution Methods and monitoring their compliance during execution;
- Tracking, verifying and approving the results of any tests performed;
- Participating in the receptions at the end of the works and commissioning and in the final receptions and providing the secretariat of the Beneficiary’s Reception Commission.
