Romair Consulting hires a Resident Execution Supervisor
Project title:
Technical assistance services for the supervision of the execution works “Regional Project for the Development of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure in Gorj County”

Târgu Jiu, Gorj County
The project consists of investments for water treatment and distribution and wastewater collection and treatment that will be implemented for Gorj County, in urban and rural areas, and which will result in connecting to these systems all citizens in these areas and complying with the provisions of the directives relevant for EU.
Resident Engineer Requirements:
- Higher education graduated with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the fields of hydrotechnical / civil construction / installations / environmental engineering;
- General knowledge of computer operation in MS Word and Excel;
- General professional experience of at least 5 years;
- Participation as a Resident Engineer (or equivalent or superior positions in responsibilities) in the supervision of at least 1 (one) works contract at the level of which he / she has carried out similar supervision / supervision / follow-up activities for works contracts (execution and / or design and execution) related to an investment objective in the field of medium infrastructure.
Job description:
- Administer and carry out the specific activities described by the clauses of the works contracts within the limits of the delegation of authority issued by the Supervisor;
- Analyzing, proposing for revision, if necessary, and approving the technical execution projects carried out by the Contractors and verifying their compliance with the EC Requirements;
- Elaboration of the specialized reports regarding the analysis of the technical execution projects elaborated by the Contractors and their submission to the EC with the recommendation of approval/rejection;
- Monitoring the performance of the works from a technical point of view, throughout their execution and admitting to payment only the corresponding works from a quantitative and qualitative point of view;
- Participating in and conducting weekly and monthly meetings with Entrepreneurs, and organizing any other management meetings if necessary;
- Elaboration of reports on the progress of the works and contribution to the realization of the reports required by the Service Contract;
- Verification of the Work Situations and supporting documents submitted by the Contractors, in accordance with the provisions of the respective contracts;
- Fulfilling, together with the subordinate supervision team, the tasks related to the measurement of the works and the certification for payment to the Contractor;
- Preparation of Interim and Final Payment Certificates for contracts for its purpose;
- Analyzing and notifying the Contractor of possible nonconformities and establishing the measures for their remedy;
- Analysis of the Execution Programs for the supervised contracts and their transmission to the EC for approval / rejection;
- Monitoring and reporting on the effective progress of supervised contracts, in weekly, monthly or when requested by the Beneficiary;
- Verification of the Contractor’s Execution Procedures / Methods and monitoring of their observance during the execution;
- Monitoring, verification and approval of test results, whatever they may be;
- Participation in the receptions at the end of the works and commissioning and in the final receptions and ensuring the secretariat of the Beneficiary Reception Commission.
